Overview
Burners, lances and nozzles create the process conditions required for carbon black production. Burners provide the high-temperature flame or heat used in the reactor furnace and can be configured for natural gas, oil, COG and other hydrocarbon fuels.
Lances with the appropriate nozzles inject gases, oil, water or additives into the reactor furnace and associated carbon black equipment. Nozzles are designed around the required spray pattern, droplet distribution, feedstock viscosity and flow rate.
