Overview
The carbon black feeder is a core part of the granulation system. It feeds densified fluffy carbon black powder from the surge bin or agitator tank into the pelletizer.
Its twin-lobe design and high operating speed provide a smooth, uniform feed, improving pelletizer control and supporting more consistent pellet quality. The feeder is normally driven through a VFD with a feedback control loop to maintain the required level in the surge bin.
