Overview
Steam-turbine wheel discs, also called rotor discs, are among the most heavily stressed components in a turbine train. Mounted onto the rotor shaft or integrated into built-up rotor designs, they support revolving blade rows while withstanding centrifugal force, tangential rim stress, cyclic thermal gradients and steam-borne corrosion.
SSCPPL manufactures precision-machined wheel discs for utility-scale power generation and industrial mechanical-drive turbines. Components can be forged from high-purity, vacuum-degassed alloy steels with optimized heat treatment and CNC machining.
