Overview
Nozzle segments sit at the front line of energy conversion in the turbine steam path. They direct high-pressure, superheated steam from the steam chest onto the governing or impulse wheel and operate under severe pressure differences, thermal shock, high steam velocities and solid-particle erosion.
We manufacture precision nozzle segments and rings for accurate throat area, controlled flow angles, reduced aerodynamic boundary losses and dependable casing sealing. Components may be machined from monolithic forgings or assembled through precision EDM and welded-vane construction.
