Overview
Guide rings, also called diaphragm rings, form the stationary partition between consecutive pressure stages in high-efficiency steam turbines. They house stationary nozzle vanes and direct high-velocity steam onto rotating blades at the required aerodynamic angle.
SSCPPL manufactures high-integrity diaphragm rings for dimensional stability, controlled radial and axial clearances, and reduced inter-stage steam leakage. New-build stages and precision retrofit replacements can be produced for legacy turbine casings.
